Get ready for the Lost Coast Storm Runner — a springtime race on the wild and stunning Lost Coast. Formerly known as the Shamrock Shuffle, this event earned a new name after last year’s unforgettable conditions: sideways rain, big wind, and a whole lot of community grit.
And honestly? Everyone loved it.
The Lost Coast in March can be calm and breathtaking… or it can feel like a full-on coastal challenge. Either way, it’s always an experience. This race celebrates the elements as part of the course — and the reward is a finish line that knows how to welcome you.
Choose your distance:
Fun Run (2.3 miles) — family-friendly, relaxed, and perfect for first-timers
5K — hilly, scenic, and a solid coastal challenge
10K — longer, windier, and extra brag-worthy
This is a rain-or-shine event welcoming runners, joggers, walkers, families, and visitors.
All paces welcome — run, jog, or walk.
Costumes encouraged.
Start your morning at Surf Point, and finish at Gyppo Ale Mill where we’ll gather for a post-race award ceremony and celebrate everyone who showed up to run the Lost Coast — whatever the weather decides to do.
